Footloose.

Movie Information:
"Writer/Director Craig Brewer (Hustle & Flow) delivers a new take of the beloved 1984 classic film. Ren MacCormack (Kenny Wormald) is transplanted from Boston to the small southern town of Bomont where he experiences a heavy dose of culture shock. A few years prior, the community was rocked by a tragic accident that killed five teenagers after a night out and Bomont's local councilmen and the beloved Reverend Shaw Moore (Dennis Quaid) responded by implementing ordinances that prohibit loud music and dancing. Not one to bow to the status quo, Ren challenges the ban, revitalizing the town and falling in love with the minister's troubled daughter Ariel (Julianne Hough) in the process."

Beastly

Movie Information:
"Beastly is an edgy teen romance about learning how to see past false surfaces to discover true inner beauty. Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all - looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity - and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating "aggressively unattractive" classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school's extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is - a task he considers impossible. Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle's callous father (Peter Krause) banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper (LisaGay Hamilton) and blind tutor (Neil Patrick Harris). As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer. Seizing the opportunity, Kyle promises the addict freedom and safety for his daughter Lindy (Vanessa Hudgens) if she will consent to live in Kyle's Brooklyn home. Thus begins Kyle's journey to discover true love in this hyper-modern retelling of the classic "Beauty and the Beast" story."

Running Time: 1 hour and 26 minutes
Genre: Drama, Romance, Fantasy

With two good-looking and high profiled young stars, this movie was a big disappointment. The acting didn't feel real and it was a poor adaptation of the classic, "Beauty and the Beast." The plot was predictable, and just plain crap. Utterly disappointed.

Crazy, Stupid, Love.

But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his "perfect" life quickly unravels. Worse, in today's single world, Cal, who hasn't dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protégé to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling)."

Who doesn't love a good chick flick? Come to think of it, there's no way that this movie can be disliked. With minimal criticism, 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' is definitely a movie to see. With witty comment that will keep you laughing, and heart felt scenes that will just sweep you off your feet - merely due to the reality of the scenario and the chemistry the characters develop - you won't be able to help but 'aww' throughout the entire film. A great film to watch with your girlfriends, if not, drag your boyfriend along to teach him a thing or two about the dating scene. Without a doubt, a cute movie that will not disappoint.

What made this movie exciting was that the lead star, Chris Hemsworth was an actor from our home, Australia. His acting skills has made us proud. However the transition between an iconic comic book to movie screen wasn't the greatest in comparison to other sequels of the Avengers such as the Hulk and Iron Man. This is a good movie to watch for those Avenger fanatics, and just remember to stay until the end for a surprise and special sneakpeak of other Avenger movies!
